Viking WayBarton upon Humber – Oakham147 milesThis is a lovely (mostly flat, though) long distance hike mostly in Lincolnshire, starting just south of the Humber. Lots of lovely quaint villages and peaceful meadows on the way.Please click

Dales WayLeeds – Ilkley – Bowness on Windermere97 milesA spectacular route officially starting in Ilkley with a link route from Leeds via Yorkshire Dales finishing at Lake Windermere in Cumbria. One of the best I’ve walked in England. Please click
Southern Uplands WayPortpatrick (Dumfries and Galloway) – Cockburnspath (Scottish Borders)214 milesScottish equivalent to the English Coast-to-Coast. A really remote long-distance walk in Dumfries and Galloway and Scottish Borders. Stunning views, serenity and gorgeous lochs on the way. Please click
